Raising a child with Sensory needs can be challenging at times. When my son was diagnosed with autism I was over whelmed with his needs. He definately had sensory problems that I wasn't sure how to help.
There is controversy surrounding sensory integration techniques so if you are a parent do some investigating. Along with sensory strategies my son participated in an intensive ABA program which by far was the most effective treatment for him. However, ABA did not address his sensory needs which is why I have put together this site.
