Raising a child with Sensory Processing Disorder (also called Sensory
Integration Dysfunction) can be challenging at
times. If your child or a child you work with has recently been
diagnosed with SPD or a disability that includes some form of SPD I want
to encourage you that sensory integration therapy works.
When
my son was diagnosed with autism I made many dear friends that began sensory integration therapy with their
children at the time I began working with my son.
Our children are more confident, relaxed, and less fearful,
interpreting their environment much better today, then when we first
started. I hope this website is helpful to you.
